Ingredients
Boiled Eggs-4 (de-shelled and halved)
Onion Big chopped-1
Tomato big chopped-1
Green chilly slit-2
Ginger and Garlic paste-1/2tsp
Kashmiri chilly powder-2tsp
Turmeric powder-pinch
Curry powder-1tsp
Salt to taste
Cloves, Cinnamon and Cardamom-few
Coriander leaves to garnish
Coriander leaves to garnish
Method
Heat oil in a kadai, add cloves, cinnamon and cardamom. When aroma rises add the onions and green chilly. Saute for few mins and add the ginger and garlic paste, saute and add the tomatoes, cook till tomatoes are smashed. Now add the curry powder, kashmiri chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt. Add little water to the mixture and bring the gravy to boil. When gravy boils add the halved eggs and simmer for 5 mins. Serve hot with Chapati/ Rice.

ReplyDeleteEgg masala used to be almost a daily dish at home while growing up. I still love them and make it pretty much the same but just a lil difference.. Thanks for sharing and Kashmiri chili does make a differnce in the look of the dish.
